Club Hang On had great success at the 2º Copa Canarias de Escalada en Bloque in La Palma, Puntallana!

On the 23/24 June, La Palma hosted the 2nd Copa Canarias of boulder climbing, with Julia Viñoly competing in Sub-11 Female and Christina Kasumba in Female Absolute, proudly representing Club Hang On.

Despite the cold weather, Julia delivered an outstanding performance, dominating the qualifiers with 5 tops and finishing the final in joint 1st place with 4 tops.

Christina also climbed brilliantly, finishing 1st in the Ladies Veteran category and 5th overall in the Women’s competition.

We are all now looking forward to the next competition — the Campeonato Canarias de Escalada en Bloque in Arucas, Gran Canaria, on the 13th/14th June.

On Saturday and Sunday, March 28th and 29th, the Spanish Bouldering Cup was held in Cáceres, where Hang On Climbing proudly sent two of its top athletes to compete: Abián Delgado in the U15 men’s category and Félix Forrisdahl in the U17 men’s category.
